3D Modeling of Human
Figures |

|
| |
The Breuckmann Face-SCAN illustrates
some of the inherent advantages of this technology compared to other 3D
modeling techniques: |
| |
|
|
| |
Speed:
The fast data capture rate of over 1 million points in less
than a second provides superior results in situations where quick
measurement is desired. |
 |
 |
| |
Color:
Most Breuckmann digitizing systems can be equipped
with a color imaging capability. Color data is very useful when
digitizing art objects, historical artifacts and museum pieces in addition
to human face scans. For certain industrial applications, color
imaging greatly simplifies the identification of objects when complex scans
are made which involve many separate parts. |

|
|
|
| |
 |
Multi-Camera Capability:
The Face-SCAN
is equipped with two cameras so that the right side and left side of the
face are measured simultaneously. This technique can be extended to
provide a full body scan with 4 cameras. Some industrial applications
also benefit from the ability to collect data from multiple views
simultaneously. |
